You’ve heard of it, now you are wondering, what is EverLife Design™? The first component of EverLife Design™, green building, turns to Energy Star® and its companion programs, Indoor airPlus and WaterSense®, to form the foundation of the energy efficiency requirements to ensure the consumer is obtaining top value and energy savings for its dollar. In addition to these programs, which focus on creating quality indoor air, reduce water consumption and improve energy efficiency, EverLife Design™ requires construction waste be reduced and promotes construction debris recycling, where available. The purpose of the EverLife Design™ green component is to provide the maximum dollar value in energy efficiency and best building practices without breaking the budget.
The second component of EverLife Design™ is accessibility. While there are currently several accessible design modalities available, particularly Universal Design and Visitability, Panaro Construction, Inc. wanted to offer something more. We took these building concepts a step further and created an Advisory Panel consisting of the AARP, the Delaware Chapter of the Visiting Nurse Association, and the University of Delaware’s newly launched Delaware Design Institute, and sought additional input for our criteria to ensure that EverLife Design™ truly created spaces that provide for maximum functional mobility. This means a space that accommodates you whether you are in a wheelchair, pushing a walker, or have no mobility issues at all. The real beauty of EverLife Design™ is that the look is anything but “institutional”. The results, and feedback, have been tremendous. We have taken the best of all worlds to create meaningful structural changes to enhance sustainability and accessibility for your lifestyle today, and through the years to come. EverLife Design™ seeks to make life easy from the time you pull into the driveway through all of your everyday tasks. The EverLife Design™ criteria is understandable and easily implemented by architects and draftsmen, builders and engineers, and cost-effective for consumers. Further, the look and feel of the home can have any style the owners desire, whether that be a traditional Colonial or a modern contemporary; the “wrapper” can change, but the structural details that make spaces healthy, accessible and durable that matter are set forth in the EverLife Design™ criteria. Are you ready to take your project to the next level? Give us a call or drop us an email and we’ll show you how EverLife Design™ can make it better.
